Gulet Charter Terms And Conditions

Charter conditions

Please ensure you read the booking conditions before proceeding with a reservation. Gulet Sailor are offered under these terms & conditions.

Booking & payment

All reservations are made and accepted based on the terms outlined in the Booking Conditions. When you confirm your reservation in writing or online by completing the booking form, you must secure the booking by making a wire transfer for 30%-%40 of the total charter cost. Your reservation is not accepted, and no contract exists between you and Gulet Sailor until we receive the deposit and confirm your booking in writing or via email. The person signing the booking form must be at least 18 years old and will be responsible for everyone listed on the booking form, ensuring all parties are informed of the booking details. Please check the details of your confirmation and raise any questions with Gulet Sailor immediately.

Down payment

The down payment must be made within one week after the signing of the charter agreement. Failure to pay within this period may result in your holiday being cancelled, in which case you will be liable to pay the cancellation charges listed below.

Guarantee

While we reserve the right to change prices at any time before booking, once your reservation is made and the deposit received, the cost of your holiday will not change, except in cases of government actions such as VAT.

Cancellations by you

If you need to cancel your booking for any reason, the following charges will apply:

• More than 56 days before departure: loss of deposit
• 55-42 days before departure: 50% of holiday price
• 41-22 days before departure: 75% of holiday price
• Less than 22 days before departure: 100% of holiday price

No refunds will be provided if you cancel your holiday after it has commenced. You must obtain your own cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen events, as outlined in the insurance section.

Cancellation by us

In exceptional circumstances, we may need to cancel your holiday, in which case we will offer you a full refund of money paid or a voyage on a gulet of equivalent standard. We reserve the right to cancel your holiday without liability or compensation if the performance of the agreement is prevented by events such as force majeure, war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, earthquakes, or other similar events beyond our control.

Insurance

For your protection, we recommend that you take out suitable travel insurance to cover your travel, health, and public liability risks in full. Note that our policies do not cover health insurance or medical expenses while on board Gulet Sailor. It is your responsibility to arrange additional coverage if required. We are not responsible for any costs you or anyone in your party incur due to inadequate insurance coverage. The cost of insurance is not included in your holiday price from Gulet Sailor.

Flights/travel

Your holiday cost does not include flights to Turkey, which you must arrange. Transfer costs from Bodrum or Dalaman Airport to the gulet are not included. Airport transfers can be arranged upon request for an additional fee.

Your responsibilities

It is your responsibility to ensure that you and your party have valid passports and any required visas. Please verify that the names on your flight tickets match those on your passports. You may need to pay for an entry visa into Turkey in your local currency. You are responsible for the safe and reasonable behavior of your party while on board of Gulet Sailor gulets.
